1 week ago29 January 2026 Wonderful experience trading in my old car to upgrade to a newer model. Paul was excellent with communication and explaining everything. Car was ready, fully serviced and MOTd within a week of viewing. Highly recommend Autopoint, first time dealing with them and wont be the last. Thanks again.

1 week ago28 January 2026 I bought the Volvo XC40 D4 in September 2025 and as such was happy with the car.
This has as such not changed, the car is ok, but the driver seat is not warming up and the car shows having a couple faulty sensors.
Nothing overly serious.
Being retired car mechanic/technician with a very solid work experience, worked myself up to even site/garage manager I can consider myself as "knowledgeable".
Although the car came with a broken/damaged rear light, I accepted that as my own fault as not checking the car well enough, although it shows on the sellers website, I replaced it myself and that's it.
During the cold months it was very irritating that the driver seat didn't warm up.
As I am retired car technician, I also still have my interest in keeping my car healthy and therefor bought the Ancel VOD700 to be able to carryout the diagnostics myself.
The device showed a number of fault codes, and I decided to have a conversation with the seller of the car.
The seller when handing over the fault codes told me immediately that the drivers seat wouldn't be covered with the warranty.
This is odd, as it is an electrical device and because it is with in the six month when the car was bought, it would be with in the warranty but also I should still have statutory rights, Consumer Act 2015.
This is also confirmed at the warranty certificate.
As I didn't want to have a verbal argument at the site in Ballyclare, I decided to leave but advised the seller I would get back to him by email, where the seller decided to be very humiliating.
Having thought about the experience which I had being a customer having bought a car from 2019 for 17000 just 5 month ago, I am 67 years of age with a high blood pressure, I am not interested in any argument and most certainly not to be humiliated by the seller, jut because of a simple warranty issue.
Would I buy again from this seller, I don't think so.

My daughter went to autopoint to look as she wanted to change her car,.from the moment we entered the premises we were great by Trevor he was absolutely great a week later my daughter drove away in a lovely Audi, nothing is to.much for the staff in this dealership, the go the extra mile for everyone, thank you so much

2 years ago18 September 2023 First time here and will not be my last. Purchased a van here and everything was as I expected it to be, professional, excellent product, honesty. The forecourt itself shows the fantastic cars this place deals with. I shopped about in my local area to no avail as either product was so wrong or the personal service needed a lot of training!! First step onto this forecourt was completely different. I do not often recommend as each individual differs, but I do recommend Autopoint. They stick with you if you need any follow ups and help resource anything extra you need. They do not just walk away. Fantastic service. Thank you Paul and Alec.

Trevor, Elaine and Paul are great people to deal with and made me feel so comfortable with my purchase. No pressurising and ensured that both parties where happy before final purchase. It basically felt like buying a car from a family member! They could not do enough for me both before, during and after purchase and I would thoroughly recommend everyone at Autopoint 😊

Bought my car little under 1 month ago. Fantastic service and felt like Paul couldn't be more helpful. I had an issue with the car brought it back for tests and checks. Originally spoke with Trevor and then Paul. On all occasions they have kept me in full communications. Excellent service and fingers crossed the car is now good. Even if not I have confidence that AP will look after me.

Thank you Trevor, very easy and honest to deal with, a pleasure. Found a cheap first car for my daughter, price agreed, years mot promised and hand shake sealing the deal. After that Trevor covered a lot of unexpected costs to get the mot and did not change goal posts or ask for more money. Considering the car was only 2500 I think this was a rare gesture of honesty and integrity that is getting harder to come by nowadays and very much appreciated. Thank you and hope these reviews instil confidence in others to purchase from yourselves. All best.

4 years ago29 November 2021 I bought my wife a Fiat 500 Convertible for my wife. The car is lovely and in top condition (and the price was right!). The car had few small issues at the beginning but Trevor and Paul were quick to fix them at no extra cost. Highly recommend these guys! Bravissimi!

I have just bought my first car from Autopoint Ballyclare. Trevor, Elaine and all the staff at Autopoint are friendly and extremely helpful. They all go the extra mile to exceed your expectations, nothing is a problem, showing high levels of expertise and knowledge. You are made to feel very welcome and part of the family. This was my first experience in buying a car and I appreciated their time, honesty and advice. I recommend them highly!! Thanks again Autopoint!!

I have bought several cars from Autopoint now and have got to say, that on every occasion it has been a great experience.
Trevor has gone out of his way to help me purchase the car I want and has gone over and above what he had to do to get the car ready for me.
Along with Elaine and team I have appreciated their honesty, integrity and friendliness, nothing has been too much bother and you are made feel part of a family.
There is no doubt once you buy you will continue to be a customer in years to come.
Can't recommend highly enough.
